Meet Our Staff

Vernon Whitaker

is known to fly the friendly skies and not so much on ground. His career stemmed from flying a corporate jet for a major coffee chain. After retirement he wants to keep his feet on the ground (not so much) by being an asset to the new Classic Car Dealership, Carolina Classic Cars. His love for the “fast and furious” American Hot Rods still runs true today as he is a classic car collector of a 1972 Nova. His “fun loving, humorous” personality is a welcoming addition to our establishment, and he is sure to make you feel welcomed when visiting our showroom.

David Varner

grew up in a family of gearheads and enjoys anything to do with automotive and motorsports. He is a contributing factor to our day-to day tasks to keep #thecarolinaclassiccars in tip top shape! He is actively involved in many car clubs and attends various cruise ins and classic car functions across the state. A native of NC and a previous manager of one of the largest NC grocery chains, he enjoys spending time with his wife Brenda and their newborn (fur baby). Stop in this coming week and say hi to David and ask him to show you around the showroom!
